This chair was inspired by 21st century modern design. Its simplicity is in its form and materials. The seat pan can be easily removed from from the base to allow for more efficient shipping.

Materials:
Plywood
Aluminum (base)
Vinyl (upholstery)

A mold was made out of MDF for bending ply to be formed over in a vacuum bag.




The bent ply was then removed from the bag and trimmed down to the desired shape and size.



After having the chair upholstered, the seat pan was attached to the base using 4 threaded inserts embedded into the seat.
